On macOS, Sublime Text is a little more difficult to use. This has the same effect as forgetting something. When you try to map a file that is too big for memory, you run out of address space, even though the Sublime Text Serial number your application gives you doesn’t have 4 GB of RAM. On a 32-bit platform, your address space is about 4 GB. Memory allocation still needs virtual address space, even though it doesn’t use real memory. We only have mediocre workarounds to deal with this problem. Third-party libraries are hard to use because signals can be reached from anywhere in the global state.
